Previewing a Form
You need to preview your form so that you can see how your users will see it. You can preview your form in one of three ways: in a tab, in a separate window, or in a fully-interactive live form. Remember to save your changes before previewing the form. All three options are available from the Preview/Launch menu of the toolbar.
On This Page
Preview in Tab
Select Preview in Tab to generate a Preview tab in your Form Workspace to the right of the tab you are working in.
When you preview your form in a tab, you can make entries in the fields and submit the form without recording any submissions in your database. In addition, no form analytic data is recorded. This lets you test your form without adding unwanted data to your database.
Click the x in the Preview tab to close and return to your Form Workspace.
Preview in a New Window
Select Preview in a new Window to generate a new browser window where you can preview your form. As with the Tab preview, you can make entries in the fields and submit the form without recording any submissions in your database or recording any analytic data. This lets you test your form without adding unwanted data to your database.
Close the browser window to return to your Form Workspace.
Launch a Live Form
Select Launch Live Form in a new Window to generate a new window where you can test a live form submission. Analytics data is recorded and a submission will result in a new record created in your database.
