Saving Changes to Your Form
As you work in your form, it's important to save changes frequently. Logiforms has a useful feature that shows you how many unsaved changes you have. A number in parentheses displays next to the Save menu on the toolbar in the Form Designer. In this example, you can see that you have two unsaved changes.
Click Save in the menu bar to save your changes. The counter resets and the number goes away until you make another change to your form. You can also use the key combination Ctrl + S, or choose Save from the menu.
Saving a Copy of Your Form
There are times when you need to make a copy of your form, perhaps to use on another project or to build a more complex form while preserving the original.
- From the Save menu, choose Save As. A dialogue box displays.
- Enter a new Form Name.
- Click in the Project Folder field to browse a list of your existing folders. If you need to create a new place for this new form to reside, click New Project Folder, enter the new folder name, and click OK.
- Click OK to return to the dialogue box.
- Click Save. You are now working in the new copy of your form.
