Show Alert Action

The Show Alert Action will pop up an alert or informational message to the user. 

Adding a Alert Action

1. In the Field properties panel, click the button in the Actions property.

2. In the New Action Settings window, choose Alert  from the drop-down menu and click Next.

3. In the Action Name field, give your action a unique name.

4. If you would like to abort all further rule execution and any pending form submissions or page navigation (when attached to a submit button or next button), set stop to true.

5. Click the Rule button to configure one or more rules that must be satisfied before the action will run.

6. Under Alert Settings, enter the alert window title, message, style and the label for the OK button.

7. Click Finish to close this window and return to the Actions window.

8. Click Save to return to the Form Designer and preview your form to test the action.
