The standard AutoResponder consists of an email response and a Post Submission (or "Thank You Page"). The option to redirect to a URL you specify is also provided as an alternative to using our Thank You Page editor. One of the big advantages of using our thank you page editor is that you can insert wildcards into the thank you page layout to display a personalized response. The same applies to the response Email.
In the Profile Settings panel of the AutoResponder wizard, you can optionally choose to enter a Redirect URL for a thank you page that you may already have on your web server. Otherwise, you can create a thank you page using Logiforms.
You can also send a "thank you" email message to your user. You will be given this option in the last step of the wizard, on the Thank You Page Settings panel. On that panel, click the Editor button to open with the Text Editor and craft a rich-format message for your Thank You page.
It's important to realize that you can create two other AutoResponder profile types, Follow-up Sequence or Respondent Updates. After creating multiple AutoResponder profiles, you can then create rules to determine which AutoResponder runs in a particular situation.
