Follow-up Sequence Profiles
This AutoResponder profile type allows you to create a series of follow-up messages sent at intervals that you specify. Setting up the first message for your sequence is easy. You simply edit the source email address, name, subject, and message text.
The first Follow-up AutoResponder profile will send the initial auto-response, and it triggers immediately upon form submission. This includes the post submission Thank You Page or, optionally, a redirect URL that you configured in the AutoResponder wizard. After setting up the initial follow-up message profile, you will likely want to want add more messages to the sequence.
Adding Additional Follow-up Profiles
Once you setup the base profile, the AutoResponder Sequence window will appear, in which you can add more messages to the sequence by following these steps:
-
Click Add AutoResponder Profile, then click Next in the first panel of the wizard.
-
In the Message Settings panel, begin by entering the From Address (this is the email address that will appear in the email header)..
-
Enter the From Name - this is the name that will appear in the name field of the email header.
-
Choose the Trigger Day - this is the number of days that will elapse from the day on which the previous message was sent.
-
Edit the Email Subject, and optionally choose the small wildcard button if you want to include the values for one of the fields. For example, you might want to personalize the subject by including the value of a text field that contains the first name of the recipient.
-
If you want to provide an option for your recipients to unsubscribe from future follow-up message distributions, check the Unsubscribe Link Options box and then enter the Unsubscribe Link Text and the Unsubscribe Redirect URL.
Take note that the AutoResponder Sequence window contains information on how many messages have been delivered, and provides an option to manually unsubscribe users (by right clicking on the row)
