The PDF Form option makes it easy to populate your existing PDF Form with the data from your web form. This option works great when you need a flexible and 'cross browser compatible' web form on the front end to collect data, but still want to create a hardcopy/populated PDF, based on a PDF you already have.
To get started creating a PDF, hover over the form you want to add a PDF to on the desktop and choose Form Design Tools > PDF Generation Tools:
When the New PDF Template Wizard launches, choose PDF Form.
What Can I do with a PDF Form?
With PDF Forms, you can map the data from your web form to your PDF Form and generate a copy for each submission.
- Populate with form data
- Apply security
- Use rules to conditionally generate PDFs
- Attach generated PDFs to your emails
- Merge multiple PDF together into one (including Dynamic PDFs)
In the next step, we'll populate our example 'Event Registration Form' with the data collected through a web form. Click Next to give it a try.
