Accessing the Generated PDFs
Once you've set up PDF Templates to be generated, they are created each time the form is submitted and stored on our cloud server. You can access the PDFs in several ways:
Via the Database Viewer
Every PDF that is generated is linked to the original form submission via the PDF Field you created when setting up the profile. This field contains a link to download the PDF. If you navigate the Database Viewer you'll see a link to the PDFs under the corresponding column header.
NOTE: You may need to scroll to the far right to see these fields if your form has many fields.
Attaching the PDF to a Notification or AutoResponder Email
Within AutoResponders & Notification Profiles, there is an option to attach a PDF. You can attach multiple PDFs. You can also link to a PDF in the body of an email using the wildcard that represents the PDF field (where the reference to the PDF is stored) and the fileLink() Modifier function.
Using the Export Wizard, you can download all the attachments and PDFs for any form with just a few clicks. The option to download attachments and PDFs is available on the last screen of the wizard. A .ZIP file containing all your PDFs will be downloaded.
You can also add a link to your PDF within a workflow. You can even embed a PDF inside an IFRAME within a workflow if you want to show the PDF Inline.
