Configuring the Main Menu

The main menu is shown at the top of the page and contains links to the pages of your profile or external pages. You can insert custom links to external pages, pop-up windows, lightboxes and link to any of the pages that make up your Publishing & Workflow profile.

Hiding & Showing Menu Items

If your workflow is secured you can configure a rule for each menu item using the Currently logged in users information, to determine if the menu item is shown or not.

To configure the menu, click the Configure Main Menu button in the top toolbar:

This will open the Main Menu Items Window.

Adding a new Menu Item

To add a new menu item, click the Add New Menu Item  button in the Main Menu Items Window.

Deleting a Menu Item

To delete a menu item, click the red X next to the item you wish to delete

Changing the Order of Menu Items

Drag and drop within the Main Menu Items Window to change the order.

Creating a Drop-Down Menu

To create a drop-down menu:

1. Click Add Drop Down Menu
2. Enter a name and display rule for the new top-level menu item.

Once the parent menu has been defined, it can be selected in the Parent Menu option of any menu item added.
