The Export Widget can be used within on a Data Page within the opening or closing content to insert a button, that when clicked will allow the end user to download the currently displayed record set. This means if the user is viewing the results of a search or on a filtered drill down page, only those records in the current record set will be exported. If any attachments/files are included in the record set the user will also be able to download the attachments as a zip file.
When configuring the export widget you can select which columns will be exported. Only the columns enabled will be included in the export. Note that if new columns are added to the form, and you want to include them in the export, the export widget settings must be updated and the new columns/fields selected for export.
All exports are to an Excel-formatted CSV file. This file can be imported into any program that accepts CSV's (Comma Separated Values file) or opened directly in Excel.
