Common Fields

For your convenience, the Common Fields library contains commonly used, pre-configured form elements. You work with these elements to insert, move, delete, and configure them the same way you do any other form elements. Consider editing the field validation properties to make fields required or to validate data entry.

From the Form Designer menu, select Insert Form Element > Common Fields.

Field	Details
Address	Insert a text field with a caption of Address
Age	Insert a text field with a caption of Age.
Country	Insert a dropdown list of countries in alphabetical order from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe with a caption of Country. Edit the Field Values property to move your country to the top of the list to make it easier for data entry.
Canadian Provinces	Insert a dropdown list of provinces in alphabetical order with a caption of Province.
City	Insert a text field with a caption of City.
Company	Insert a text field with a caption of Company.
Email Address	Insert a text field with a caption of Email and a Validation of Email Address.
Eye Color	Insert a text field with a caption of Eye Color.
Fax	Insert a text field with a caption of Fax.
First Name	Insert a text field with a caption of First Name.
Gender	Insert a text field with a caption of Gender.
Hair Color	Insert a text field with a caption of Hair Color.
Height	Insert a text field with a caption of Height.
Initial	Insert a text field with a caption of Initial.
Job Title	Insert a text field with a caption of Job Title.
Last Name	Insert a text field with a caption of Last Name.
Newsletter Optin	Insert a checkbox field with a caption of Newsletter Optin. Click the Field Values property to add another option and change the labels to suit your situation. For example, YES I want to subscribe or NO not now thank you.
Phone	Insert a text field with a caption of Phone. In Field Validation Setting, add a validation for Phone Number.
Provinces & States	Insert a dropdown list with American states in alphabetical order followed by Canadian provinces and territories. Caption is Province or State.
Salutation	Insert a dropdown list with a caption of Salutation. The list includes Mr Ms Mrs. Edit the Field Values property to add other salutations, like Dr that you might need.
US States	Insert a dropdown list of American states in alphabetical order with a caption of State.
Weight	Insert a text field with a caption of weight.
Zip/Postal Code	Insert a text field with a caption of Zip/Postal Code.
