Creating a Lead Distribution Profile
The Lead Distribution feature enables you to setup an even, round-robin lead distribution to a members in a pool. Each new form submission is assigned to pool member who is next in the round-robin sequence. This is done by updating a field in the database. Once the field value is updated, you can use notification profiles and sub user accounts with filters to distribute leads.
You can setup multiple lead pools and processing rules. You can deactivate and re-activate members in any pool by changing the Active setting in Member Details (see below).
Preparing the Form Submission Database
When a lead distribution profile triggers, you may want to track the distribution event in your database. Below, you'll learn how to configure the Update Values, so that you can update fields in the database/form submission. For example, you might want to add a field Sales Lead to the database, and populate it with a name or a category value at the time of form submission.
Creating a Lead Integration Profile
Though we offer you many options when creating a Lead Distribution profile, it's quite easy when you follow the steps in the wizard:

Begin by choosing Post Processing > Lead Distribution from the Form Designer Toolbar; or you can also right-click on the form in the Dashboard, then select Form Design Tools > Lead Distribution Settings.

The Lead Distribution management window will appear. To launch the wizard, click the Add Lead Distribution Profile button. NOTE: If you encounter a listing containing one or more profiles, click the Add Lead Distribution Profile menu item.

When the wizard that appears, click the Next button to begin.

After selecting an type, click Next to move forward in the wizard.

In the Profile Settings panel of the wizard, give a Name this profile and check the box for Default Profile if you want this to be the default profile.

Click Next to move on to the next step in the wizard, Lead Distribution Member Details.

Enter the Member Name, and decide if you want to uncheck the Active box at this time. Only active members will receive any lead notifications.

To update values in the form submission database when this profile triggers, click the Edit Values button. In the Update Values window, click the Add New Field/ Row menu item. Then click in the blank row directly beneath the Field to Update column and select the database field you want to update. Take care not to inadvertently choose a form field, since that value will be overwritten. Also, specify the Value you want to insert into that field. To properly save this setting, first click in the white space below the last row, and then click the Save button to commit the change and return to the wizard.

Click the Save button in the wizard panel to return to the Lead Distribution management window.
Other Processing Options
You can also configure rules that examine fields in the form. For example, you can setup a rule that examines a drop-down menu containing values representing different geographical regions. See the Rules section in Managing Lead Distribution Profiles. You can also create notifications and triggers that will run when specific values record into the database fields.
